In less than 3 years our maintenance team has grown ten times, and has recently been nominated by the Estonian Aviation Academy amongst the Top 3 maintenance teams of the country. Would you like to be part of that team and start a career with us? Your career might take off on our wings very soon!
Main tasks:
- The SM is responsible for day to day control and upkeep of the station.
- The SM is responsible for managing both support and coordination of technical team.
- The SM is responsible for acting as main point of contact to third parties technical teams.
- The SM is responsible for daily check of planned works, DMIs and WO table for new upcoming tasks and communicating it to technical staff.
- The SM is responsible for keeping station up to Xfly MO standards according to regulations, company procedures but also common sense where needed.
- The SM is responsible for task assignment to technical staff according to their authorisations and abilities. Dividing technical staff into teams for certain tasks or projects.
- The SM is responsible for rostering of the stations staff, dealing with additional manpower issues and replacements when needed.
- The SM is responsible for supporting line maintenance activities in his/hers assigned station if needed.
- The SM is responsible for leading of more complex projects, including managing technical team, spares and tooling.
- The SM is responsible for supporting MM with recruitment, training and assessing new technical staff.
- The SM is responsible for coordinating communication between Operator, planning department and the stations technical team in AOG situations.
- The SM is responsible for gathering information from technical team and forwarding input to Part-145 logistics about tool requests.
- The SM is responsible for coordination and carrying out of recurrent station related trainings (including GSE) and additional assessments of technical staff if necessary.
- The SM is responsible for controlling and approving of the station technical team working hours and/or possible OT together with forwarding mentioned data to MM.
Requirements and experience:
- Having at least 3 years of Line Maintenance experience in Management Team or acting as a Certifying Staff.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written in combination with strong communication skills.
- Good prioritization and organization skills- prioritize tasks, manage schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
- Higher degree in aviation education is a must.
- Type Certificate of CRJ aircraft and ATR/A320 would be considered as an asset.
- Regulatory knowledge- Understanding of aviation regulations, safety protocols and Part-145 standards.
- Leadership skills- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage team of line maintenance technicians efficiently.
- A clean criminal record for issuance of an airside security pass.
- Eligible to live and work in the EU.
