We are Nordic Aviation Group, a trusted Capacity Provider Airline (CPA) group owned 100% by the Republic of Estonia. We have become one of the biggest CPA companies in Europe and currently employ over 600 people from 30 different countries. We have bases in Tallinn, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Turku, Aarhus, Vilnius and Lisbon, where Munchen and Hamburg bases will be launched in spring. We operate long-term ACMI production for major airlines within Europe and manage two successful commercial brands, Nordica and Xfly.
Our current fleet consists of 17 aircraft, split between ATR72-600s, CRJ900s, and A320s, where we will increase our fleet by three Airbus A320neo aircraft in spring, in order to serve a new strategic partner in Germany. Our aircraft operate ACMI production under a “wet-lease” contract on behalf of our customers. We are currently actively recruiting other 250 aviation talents to help them grow with us. Responsibilities:
- The OTF will assist in organizing all Flight and Cabin Crew training activities performed under responsibility of Nordica, and in ensuring high level of training quality in accordance with Nordica policy
- OTF is assisting OT in implementing corrective actions resulting from the quality monitoring
- Manager Training will assist OT in confirming, that all personnel in Training department that performs operationally critical functions are physically and medically fit for duty
- Able to work in a detail-oriented fashion, with analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication skills across various stakeholder groups
Requirements and experience:
- Manager Training A320 shall be a current type rating instructor on A320 and is also acting as a deputy for OT
- OTF should have a current TRI rating on a type operated under the AOC. And a thorough knowledge of the AOC holder’s crew training concept for flight and cabin crew, and operational personnel other than crew.
- Higher education Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Excel, Safety Management Systems
- Appropriate management experience in a comparable organization and five years relevant work experience of which at least two years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position;
- Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices;
- Comprehensive knowledge of:
- a. EU regulations related to operations and procedures;
- b. Nordica Operations Specifications;
- c. The need for, and content of, the relevant parts of Nordica Operations Manual;
- Familiarity with Management Systems and Safety Management System;
- Proficient in English language, enough to understand a wide and complex range of demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning. Able to express him/herself fluently and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes
