
Station Manager
To support organisational growth, Nordica is looking for a Station Manager to support the Ground Operations department by ensuring oversight for all handling activities. This is a full-time position in Tallinn, Estonia.

We are Nordic Aviation Group, a trusted Capacity Provider Airline (CPA) group owned 100% by the Republic of Estonia. We have become one of the biggest CPA companies in Europe and currently employ over 600 people from 30 different countries. We have bases in Tallinn, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Turku, Aarhus, Vilnius and Lisbon, where Munich and Hamburg bases will be launched in spring. We operate long-term ACMI production for major airlines within Europe and manage two successful commercial brands, Nordica and Xfly.
Our current fleet consists of 17 aircraft, split between ATR72-600s, CRJ900s, and A320s, where we will increase our fleet by three Airbus A320neo aircraft in spring, in order to serve a new strategic partner in Germany. Our aircraft operate ACMI production under a “wet-lease” contract on behalf of our customers. We are currently actively recruiting other 250 aviation talents to help them grow with us. Responsibilities:
- Ensure control of all handling activities
- Plan, organize and direct station operations in accordance with the Ground Operations Manuals as well as local regulations
- Project management (including ACMI)
- Elaborate and implement ground handling contracts
- Conduct invoice control for ground operations
- Act as a contact between Nordica and catering, fueling companies, partner airlines and other stakeholders
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with local authorities, handling agents and partner airlines
- Document the contractors’ points of contact at each station, and any procedural variations
- Follow up with the implementation of corrective actions resulting from Nordica audits and inspections
- Altea DCS administration and support
- Other related duties as required by the Ground Operations function
Requirements and experience:
- A proven track record in collaboration and cooperation
- Work experience in the aeronautical industry in ground operations and cargo
- Demonstrable experience in planning and time management
- Demonstrable Intermediate to Advanced skills level in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum of C1 Proficiency in written and spoken English language
- Previous working experience with IATA AHM, IATA IGOM and IATA DGR
