Marten Kütt: The Man Behind Multiple Roles at Nordic Aviation Group 🛫
Marten Kütt is a man of many responsibilities at Nordic Aviation Group - he is a Revenue Manager and a Cabin Crew at the same time. Today, he takes time from his busy schedule to discuss his unique position.
Marten, you've been in aviation for over six years now, always from behind a desk. What motivated you to get involved with the "flying" aspect of the business?
I felt that it was high time to extend my understanding beyond office walls. I've always been fascinated by the flying aspect of our business, and I wanted to grasp it firsthand.
How do you manage to juggle your responsibilities as a Revenue Manager with your duties as part of the Cabin Crew?
It's a bit of a balancing act, I must admit. But I've been fortunate being scheduled for evening rotations and/or weekends. It's a challenge, but one that I find immensely rewarding.
Do you find any synergies between your roles in revenue management and as a crew member?
At first glance, the roles might seem disconnected, but I believe they offer a complementary understanding of commercial aviation. Being part of the Cabin Crew has been beneficial for me to grasp the broader picture.
What would you say to people who have always worked in an office setting in the aviation industry?
I would highly recommend considering enrolling in cabin crew training. It provides invaluable firsthand experience and you get to meet our fantastic crew members.
